The new situation affects in many respects the implementation of the pilot phase of the Continuing Professional Development Program as part of the EntreComp for Teachers project, funded by the European Commission. Thanks to the positive attitude and digital competencies of our group of teachers in the pilot phase, we have successfully dealt with the challenges that would otherwise affect the course of project activities and the entire time frame.
However, one of the aspects that will not be able to be tested is the impact on students and the face-to-face effect of the methods of the CPD program, as a result of the closure of high schools in R.N. Macedonia. But this does not mean that it will not affect them. On the contrary, these circumstances will contribute to the “deliberate” mass digitalization of the educational process, which is also one of the goals of this program, both by teachers to students and by us to teachers. It will also provide space for teachers to adapt and plan these innovative learning methods in their work program for the new school year.
As a conclusion from the opinions of the teachers who are near the end of the CPD program, we can single out that it will definitely help them in setting improved learning objectives, because according to them “some of these methods have been used so far but unconsciously without setting the final goal, while now they really understand what the desired results are for the students and how to reach them. “
